Braid is slippery. The knots most anglers know were learned on monofilament, and several of them pull straight through braid under load — which is how a good line gets blamed for a lost fish.

The colour is a decision

Camouflage green, against the chartreuse of another line here. They are opposite choices, both correct:

  • camo, so the fish does not see the line in clear water;
  • bright, so you see the line when a fish moves towards you and the line falls slack.
