A wrong figure
If something on this site is wrong — a casting weight, a test curve, a line diameter, a breaking strain, a buoyancy class, a price band, or a description of how a mechanism works — say so. It is checked, it is corrected, and the page keeps a record of what changed and when. Of everything that arrives in the inbox this is the most useful, and it is dealt with first.
A question about something on these pages
Everything gets read, and anything answerable gets answered. A question arriving for the third or fourth time stops being an email and turns into a page, which reaches far more people than a private reply could.
If you are writing for a manufacturer
Data sheets, fitting instructions, compatibility tables and corrections of fact are all welcome, and they genuinely do change what the pages say. What is not for sale: a place in a family, a sentence, or a mention. Tackle sent unasked buys nothing and reserves nothing, and offers of that sort go unanswered.

Send nothing confidential. This is an editorial site rather than a service counter: a warranty, a cracked blank, a missing screw, a return or an order belongs with whoever sold or made the item, and none of it can be settled here.
