That is not a disqualification, it is a price: a 50 kg luggage scale weighs a carp perfectly well at a third of the price of a tackle-brand one. What the fishing-brand scales add is worth naming. The Angel-Berger Magic Baits digital at 12,58 € is rated to 40 kg and built to hang from a sling; the Alaoo at 17,99 € has a T-bar — a crossbar held in two hands, which is how a heavy fish is actually lifted and the only design that does not swing. The first figure to compare is the capacity, and the range is wide: 40 kg, 50 kg on most, 75 kg on the CAMRY and the Rhorawill at 10,99 €, 200 kg on the Qibivfo at 17,59 €, 300 kg on the GRAM PRES at 35,99 €. A 50 kg scale is ample for anything in fresh water, and a 200 kg scale reads in coarser steps — which is the second figure, the graduation, and almost no listing gives it. The feature that decides whether you carry one object or two is the tape measure: the Angel-Berger at 7,99 € and the CAMRY both build in a 1 m tape.
